My classmates made me feel very welcome from day one. Peter my main instructor motivated me and show me the real importance of self defence skills in today's world and very inspiring passion for Krav Maga. Since joining the Krav Maga Academy in Gillingham last year, my confidence, fitness level and self defence skills have risen dramatically. At first, I was a little worried that I wouldn't cope well physically and might struggle to find time to attend classes on a regular basis. My classmates made me feel very welcome from day one. Peter, my main instructor, motivated me and show me the real importance of self defence skills in today's world and very inspiring passion for Krav Maga. Today I am always very excited about my next class, learning new skills every session, getting stronger, dedicating any spare time for training. Now I look forward to the next challenge in my new passion...Krav Maga! I highly recommend Krav Maga Academy in Gillingham. Just try it once and, like me, you will definitely crave for more!

I joined Krav Maga Academy a year and a half ago and it has changed my life. Before I joined I was a 21 stone smoker, my first class was a struggle but the instructors were very supportive and I felt encouraged to return. Within a short space of time I noticed my fitness improve and this motivated me to give up smoking. I have since lost 4 stone in weight and feel much healthier. The classes continue to challenge me but are a lot of fun, I also feel safer and better prepared to protect myself should I need to. I would highly recommend Krav Maga Academy to everyone regardless of age, size, shape or fitness, it can change your life for the better.

I had seen how many classes it offered across Kent and so I felt confident I would be able to fit regular training around my commitments. I attended the trial session and was blown away and wanted to sign up there and then, I was introduced to a range of flexible packages and chose the one that suited me. I wanted to learn self defence or a martial art but needed somewhere that offered classes I could fit around my work and family commitments. I discovered Krav Maga Self Defence Academy and was attracted to the real world application it offered, it looked fun and exciting and also practical. I have been training in Krav Maga since the beginning of December and have found that it is the most relevant self defence around for the modern world. I have been training in Krav Maga since the beginning of December and have found that it is the most relevant self defence around for the modern world. The techniques use the bodies natural reactions to effectively get yourself out of trouble. The training itself improves both your mental and physical fitness showing you are capable of more than you think, improving confidence and self belief.

Krav Maga is the perfect combination of physical and mental agility training that you can find in today's society. It provides both the instant gratification that all we crave so much day to day and the long term journey to greatness that we all seek that keeps us growing and moving forward. It’s hard to describe how empowering it is to be so in control of strengthening your mind and body when you’re focused on training. Suddenly, the stresses of everyday disappear and that’s it, time to switch on. It’s the instant gratification when you get it right that’s so addictive. The classes are always planned to get you moving and learning quickly and effectively. Since joining in 2015, I've seen my confidence grow in a way, that as a young woman in today's society, I never expected to fulfil. The instructors are always pushing you forward to challenge the limits we place on ourselves and unlock your potential to be so much more.

My first thoughts of Krav Maga were “Oh my God, I am going to die” and that was just the warm up!! Since then, my fitness levels have come on and even though every class is intense, I am enjoying them more and more every time. I started Krav Maga in June 2015. My main reason was to get fit and learn how to protect myself. I wanted to learn something different, heard about Krav Maga, found the Krav Maga Academy on-line and made the appointment with Piotr. My first thoughts of Krav Maga were “Oh my God, I am going to die” and that was just the warm up!! Since then, my fitness levels have come on and even though every class is intense, I am enjoying them more and more every time. The instructors are all amazing. They are helpful and committed to teaching you all you can possibly learn in each session. I like the fact that the classes are all hands on, there’s no standing in lines punching and kicking thin air, the training is one (or everyone) on one. I am fitter now than I was 10 years ago; I am learning lots of new skills and best of all I have met some of the nicest people you could wish to meet.

Ive been training Krav Maga for several months now and I can admit that after the first couple of sessions, I was hooked. I'd encourage anybody who wants to learn an effective self defence system with real world applications to get down to one of the training centres and sign up, but be prepared to work and sweat! Ive been training Krav Maga for several months now and I can admit that after the first couple of sessions, I was hooked. There are two well known sayings which perfectly summarise the principles of Krav Maga. Firstly, "the best fight is the one never fought".... Krav definitely encourages a state of overall awareness so you can avoid any potential altercations or descale a situation if one arises, however if you do find yourself in a situation where you have to protect yourself, the quote from Niccolo Machiavelili is a perfect example of how to deal with the problem: "If an injury has to be done to a man I should be so severe, that his vengeance need not be feared", Krav Maga gives you the tools and techniques to apply in a "real world" environment with the ethos being on controlled aggression where necessary and ending the fight quickly and efficiently. The instructor team are all very approachable and you can see they have a genuine passion for what they're teaching and the training environment is always warm and welcoming regardless of age and ability. I'd encourage anybody who wants to learn an effective self defence system with real world applications to get down to one of the training centres and sign up, but be prepared to work and sweat!
